Happy Kids Family Day Care in Cammeray has been a trusted childcare provider since 2004. Owned by award-winning educator Maria Lourdes Aggabao, we deliver exceptional early childhood education and care.

Curriculum
At HKFDC, our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework, which is designed to extend and enrich children's learning from birth to age five. In addition, we provide a school readiness program that supports the transition to school.
Our programs focus on child-initiated play, supported by a structured daily routine. Activities include art, music, drama, and physical movement, complemented by a secure outdoor play area with sand and water play.

''When we first started sending Huey to Maria, he had just turned two and wasn't speaking at all (not even the basics-''mama'' ''dada'' ''yes'' ''no''). We had been working with him at home and were about to kick off a number of doctor's appointments when Covid hit. As a result, the speech therapy sessions were cancelled. Meanwhile, Huey started going to Maria's daycare and in a matter of a month or two he started talking! Maria's special way of encouraging and challenging the kids to develop independence while also supporting them has worked wonders with Huey. He quickly developed other new skills that we were unable to teach him at home: drinking from a straw, putting his shoes on, and as of late, potty training! (Just to mention a few!)
Maria has also encouraged us to try different techniques with Huey at home to help him develop more independence. We so appreciate her insight and professional advice/support.
